GANIL, in its capacity as controller, informs you that your data is processed. When certain information is required to access specific features of the site, this requirement is indicated at the time of data entry collection. If you refuse to provide required entries, you may not be able to access certain services.

Recorded data

Personal data may be collected by GANIL, Bd Henri Becquerel | BP 55027 14076 CAEN Cedex 05. They come from the GANIL Portal application.

The following personal data :

• Name
• First name
• E-mail address
• Phone
• Affiliation (institute, laboratory, etc.)

Is likely to be collected as a result of :

• Adding proposals for experiments
• Being a collaborator on proposals for experiments

The spokesperson adds in his proposal a list of collaborators by querying GANIL Portal application. As a collaborator, by validate your participation to a proposal, you confirm you have read and accept the Xpgan Terms & Conditions.

Data recipients

This data is accessible to:

• Contact Person of a proposal
• Beam coordinator of the selected call for proposals
• Scientific & Technical coordinator of the selected experimental device or area
• GANIL Pac members if your proposal is selected
• Administrator, site manager & GANIL staff

Data retention period

The data retention period shall not exceed :
Three years of inactivity, after which personal data are erased as part of the right to be forgotten.
However, the proposals that have been retained to be programmed and made will keep your personal data.

Data transfer outside the European Union

• When you add a proposal: No transfer of data outside the European Union is carried out.
• If your proposal is selected: It will be sent to PAC members ( PAC members list )

Personal rights

In compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, in particular Law No. 78-17 of 6 January amended relating to data processing, files and freedoms and European Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016 (applicable since 25 May 2018), you have the following rights :
If you are an Authenticated contributor:

• Update or delete your data by logging into your portal account and configuring its settings ;
• Exercise your right of access, to know the personal data concerning you;
• Request the updating of your data, if it is inaccurate;
• Request portability or erasure of your data;
  You can delete proposals that have not been submitted, for others, contact the BeamCoordinator of the call for proposals
• Request the deletion of your account;
  Be careful if you delete your account from the Portal, you will not be able to consult the proposals in the XPGAN application anymore.
• Oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of your data;
• Withdraw your consent to the processing of your data.
